Q1:Why does my child need a guardian in the UK?

Answer:
Yes. Under the regulation in the UK, for anyone under the age of 18 you must have a legal guardian living in the United Kingdom.

Q2:Who will be the guardian of my child?

Answer:
Our Company has a worldwide of guardianship connections and in the UK we offer British residence as a guardian. Throughout the term time the school with provide everyday care of your child as well as the academic side and social development. During the closure of the school the guardian will provide care of the child.

Q3: Who will meet my child at the airport?

Answer:
We or our representatives will be at the airport to meet your child for the first time he/ she arrives into the UK. As different students situation are different, we are able to tailor any arrangements that will match your need. Some school will provide a mini-bus service that will pick their pupils up to and from the airport. If the school does not have this service we can arrange the child to travel by car which will be billed to your account.

Q4:How often would my child be visited?

Answer:
We will visit your child to see how they are settling at school once academic term. With additional charge we can also visit the child more if you require us to do so. Also, we will be attending any school events and a report would be sent to you.

Q5: Will be child be able to adapt to boarding school life?

Answer:
All the boarding school in the UK will give as much support and care as they can to their students. We will also keep in contact with your child to see how they are settling down and give them more attention if they need.

Q6:How would the host families be chosen? Would it be safe?

Answer:
All the host families we have contacts with and we would have an interview with the family to ensure that the environment is safe and friendly. It is beneficial for the child to stay at these homes as it can allow them to learn better English by communicating with them and as well be learning the local culture

Q7: What will happen to my child if he/ she is suspended or permanently excluded from school?

Answer:
A student can be suspended from school if they have been very naughty, and the period of suspension can last for some days or even weeks. The most common case for this would be the child being guilty of bullying, drinking alcohol, smoking or continuously breaking the school rules. During the period we will arrange a host family for the child to stay in and we will contact the school to discuss the situation whilst keeping you well informed. If a permanent excluded takes place, we will assist in the finding an alternative school or will arrange your child back home to you.
